This month at Eagle View Mrs. Chonko's 1st and 2nd period classes collected supplies for Operation Christmas Child. This is a very unique opportunity in which students can give a Christmas gift to a child in need, including children who are orphans and/or homeless. Mrs. Chonko's students donated and filled shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Operation Christmas Child is an organization that delivers the shoeboxes to child in need all over the world. What a great way to spread joy this holiday season! These 3rd graders are AWESOME!
