Somerset Area SD

The Senior High National Honor Society teamed up with the Junior High Student Council for our annual Veterans Day assembly. Students warmly greeted local Veterans at the door and escorted them to the auditorium for the socially distanced assembly. Juniors and Seniors joined them in the auditorium, and the rest of the student body watched the program via live stream in their classrooms. Veterans enjoyed music from our Chorus, Orchestra, and Band. The National Honor Society also performed an emotional dramatization of the hardships about leaving home that every Veteran felt.
