On the first weekend of October SASD celebrated homecoming with a variety of annual festivities. We kicked off the festivities with an outdoor pep assembly for senior high students at the stadium, followed by a district-wide parade. K-12 athletes represented their sports, and the parade also showcased our Golden Eagle marching band, homecoming court, and local emergency services. New this year was the representation of underclassmen court nominees, in addition to the ten senior nominees. Haley Basala was crowned homecoming queen and Caleb Antram the homecoming king. The weekend was rounded out with the homecoming dance held at the Masonic Temple.
Thank you to all of the Golden Eagle alumni who returned to their "old stomping grounds" to celebrate with us! If you missed out this year, please check out this highlight reel!
