Somerset Area SD

FBLA - Future Business Leaders of America - is a competitive club that helps students prepare for technical and business-related careers and helps students build leadership skills. There is a plethora of events students can choose to complete in that include objective tests, presentation events, production events, and role-playing events. Students can compete as an individual or as a team. Somerset had a very successful competition at the Region 17 conference held on December 10th at Everett ACM. 22 of our members competed through objective tests or presentation events. 17 of these students placed high enough to qualify for the State Competition held in April in Hershey! There are also 4 students who competed in events that are state only events and are waiting to see if they also qualify for states.
